Bridge Of Light

Just been looking at your site and noticed you haven't got Francien's 'Bridge Of Light' mentioned anywhere.  I taught it a couple of weeks or so ago, and everyone absolutely loves it - it's our favourite dance right now.  Check it out; it's an advanced NC2; the track is great (it's Pink) and the dance is perfectly choreographed.  Definitely one of Francien's best, along with 'Rock Your Body'.
Wouldn't want you to miss this one.

Fresh

Jo & John Kinser. Did this one tonight and we all LOVED it. Bit different – good track and dance. Has travelling switches in it which gave us all giggles til we got them down....?!!!

I Saw Linda Yesterday

Derek Robinson. This is a lovely little dance to a happy and sing-along style song. We taught the beginners/improvers and, later, also the intermediates and the two levels were then able to share the floor for the first dance of the year which was a lovely, uniting experience and everyone was smiling all through the dance and commented what a little cracker this is. The song is one of those catchy ones that stays in your head for ages afterwards!

Journey On

Robbie McGowan Hickie. Our intermediates aren't usually keen on slow dances but they took to this dance so well and absolutely loved it.
There were lots of ooohs and aaah's over the incredibly beautiful song and everyone picked up the dance easily. Just 32 counts and no tags or
re-starts. All indications are that this dance is going to be a huge, huge hit in our intermediate classes. The bonus is that the track is just 69 pence
from Amazon at present. I highly recommend a listen to the song and a look at the dance. Both are winners!!

Saved My Soul

Saved My Soul by Esmeralda Pol, Music: A Stranger Saved My Soul by Mans Zelmerlow - This a beautiful night club with some different steps, Beautiful track

Don't Want Nobody

Don't Want Nobody by Esmeralda Pol & Wil Bos, Music: I Don't Want Nobody By Ike Turner - A great funky improver dance which the intermediates will enjoy

Love Letter Waltz

Love Letter Waltz by Frank Trace, Music: Love Letters by Elton John & Bonnie Raitt - Easy Intermediate waltz to a beautiful version of this song

Language Of The Heart

Just a message to let you know about Ria's new NC one - Language Of The Heart - labelled as Higher Intermediate/Advanced, but you can hear the timing easily if you're accustomed to NC2 dances, and it's only 32 count with 2 easy restarts.. You really must look at it, it's fab! Whole class enjoyed it immensely and it provokes sayings like 'I really like that one' as they leave the floor - great stuff!

Hey Mister

Just wanted to tell you about a fab new dance by Vikki Morris called HEY MISTER.
It is to the music Fake ID from the Footloose film and I just love the song so looked and looked for an interesting dance to it
The dance fits the music to a 'T' and my class just love it. Not too hard for the Improvers and still interesting enough for the Intermediates

B.C.O. (Baby Come On)

This week we wanted something less taxing and went with Rachael McEnaney's B.C.O. (BABY COME ON) 48counts 1 restart wall 6 Music Baby Come on by Chris Anderson (last night CD single) If you like CHILL FACTOR this is one for you Racheal's written this one to very similar music, very easy teach quite a fast dance, that fits well to the music. Did not hear any negative comments at all, so always a good sign, that it went well

Cry Me Out

Tricky but excellent dance by Malene Jakobsen - Great Pixie Lott song too

Already Gone

Really good to a very catchy track.  We all really had fun and enjoyed it enormously.  Bits of the timing took a bit of getting until the steps came easier - but it was an immediate We Love It.!!!

Do The Hoedown

This is Suzanne from Line Up 4 Dance in Gothenburg Sweden. I just have to say that the Hoedown has been one of the best dances this fall. It is just a hilarious dance and you will always be guaranteed finishing with a big smile on your face

Loving U

I've just taught Maggie G's new 'power' waltz 'Loving U'.  It is a fast waltz with crucial 'holds' and I am aware of another class in the area who can't 'nail' the timing, but it's well worth the effort as with most of Maggie's dances

Push It Up

This week we were lucky to have a advance copy of Nev & Julies new dance PUSH IT UP 64count 4 wall Intermediate Music Push it Up.. Daniela. 2 restarts Wow this one is out of Nev & Julies top draw dances, loved it the moment we learnt it and just knew our class would feel the same way, believe this is one of the new dances they will be teaching next weekend, Just hoping and expecting now the rest we learn to be this good. A mainstream dance that fits excellently to the music as only Nev & Julie know how, they have managed a great job and all in the class felt the same after learning it, huge amounts of good feed back. One to look at once they release the sheet

Plan B

Watch out for Kate and Rob's new dance Plan B - Think this one could go places!! Fab track with lots of "nuances" that the steps fit a treat - Just love the second tag when hits a real "aggressive" beat for the first 4 counts then changes to a gentle beat for the repeated 4 counts

Leona's Letter

This is a great little mainstream pop dance from Tina Argyle - Easy enough for Improvers but has enough to keep the interest of the more experienced dancers - Track is lovely - It's a shame more are not dancing this one

Lift Me Up

You need to check out this dance by Ria Vos it is wonderful, the last time I got such great feedback was when I taught ‘ Smell of your sweet perfume’ its fab really worth a teach

Your Eyes In Mine

It is a Michele Perron dance - Dancing the dance to the music is truly a religious experience, it just moves you and takes you to a different place.  I'm hoping you will have a look at it and consider teaching it.  I found that some of my students had a hard time with the ending and the beginning being so much alike only different feet moving in opposite direction, it took a couple of weeks for them to catch on to where they were, but I loved the dance so much that I wouldn't let that stop them, they are all very much in love with dance now and we are seeing the fruits of our labor as the social floors are filling up with this dance

Walking On Fire

Would just like to praise a great new dance from Rep Ghazali - Walking on Fire. We taught it at our club a couple of weeks ago and it's been a big hit. Great music that really grows on you, cool choreography and lots of opportunity for styling. Definitely worthy of your attention

Night Work

We did Night Work last night & loved it immediately - Great 5/5 dance

Know Me By Now

It is a lovely waltz by Lesley Clark to a great track by Leo Sayer - My beginners and intermediates love it

Burlesque
